From Your Idea to Finished Jewellery

The custom-design process is collaborative. We discuss what you want from the ring, refine the measurements and proportions, and make sure the design has the appearance you are looking for before production begins.

Depending on the design, a CAD model may then be created so you can see a precise computer representation of your ring. This is an exciting stage because an idea that previously existed only in your imagination starts to look like a real piece of jewellery.

A Real Hidden Delites Custom Ring

One customer, Martin, came to Hidden Delites with an idea for a hinged band cock ring. He chose the internal diameter and width, and after discussing the design we created a CAD model so the proportions could be reviewed.

Creating the Mould

Once the design and measurements were agreed, the next stage for Martin's ring was the mould. The approved design provided the basis from which the silver ring could be produced.

Then the Silversmith Works His Magic

Once the production stages are complete, skilled hand-finishing turns the piece into jewellery. The ring is carefully finished, polished and checked so that the final result reflects the design that was agreed with the customer.
